All customers purchasing from the ART TRANS Gallery and/or our business
partners are offered all-risk insurance coverage that applies to the course of
transport. Insurance protects you in the event of lost, partial damage or
possible breakage to the goods inside the case. This coverage insures goods
until the date they are checked by the customer. It is recommended that the
package be checked at the earliest convenience after receiving. The earlier the
package is checked, the easier it is to correct any possible problems
corresponding to goods.
During the transit process if lost, breakage or partial damage to your
consignment occurs:
- Should you require physical replacement of the goods: ART TRANS shall make
every effort to provide you with another shipment (i.e. arrange a new purchase
from the store, or have the goods made by the producer) and deliver the order
in the manner originally agreed upon.
- Should you require financial reimbursement: ART TRANS will reimburse the
original purchase price of the goods plus a proportional part of the transport
costs (determined by the size, shape, and amount of transportation charge).
As an additional service our insurance policy also covers artwork sent to an
exhibition abroad which applies to the ENTIRE exhibition period, including the
return transport.
