A part of our service is customs clearance. This means that ALL documents applicable to exportation laws in the Czech Republic, including customs declaration, are arranged by ART TRANS.

We arrange:

• Pro-forma Invoice and customs declaration form
• Customs clearance at the inland (Czech Republic) customs office
• Evidence and distribution of customs declaration to the principal

Note: Artwork must be accompanied by an Artist’s Certificate (living artists). Items listed in Zákon ze dne 23. March 1994 on the Sale and Export of Cultural Articles of Value, require an export license before export. Other items of older age will be exported only after a statement of appraisal has been issued.

ART TRANS will not provide the arrangement of documents necessary for customs clearance as a separate service (i.e. purchases NOT associated with ART TRANS GALLERY or ART TRANS’ business partners).
